Meet the Migpog team

Caroline Saunders - Author

Caroline Saunders grew up in the South East of England.  She moved to Perth, Australia 5 years ago and loves a good adventure. She has two young boys who fill her mind with weird and wonderful ideas and lives near the coast with her family.

Caroline has written comical and sentimental poetry, which has been published in various parenting magazines.  She adores writing for children and has a number of stories under her belt, ready to be published.

Caroline designed the story of “The Migpog”, as a nice way to end the evening.  A descriptive poetic piece which is easy to read and encourages children to close their eyes and use their imagination as they drift off to sleep.

She has a huge passion for bringing creativity into schools through art, music and movement and knows the importance of creating fun, interactive learning experiences for young children.  Her favourite author of all time is Roald Dahl and she has a huge collection of his stories.

The Migpog is her first self-published book and she hopes that children enjoy reading it as much as she has enjoyed writing it.

Stew Wright - Illustrator

Stew is the author and illustrator of the children's picture book series Westfield Farm Tales. He established the art and design studio 2Wright Design in 2010, and has since worked with numerous individuals and businesses, including The Baby Box Co.
"Designing The Migpog has been a fantastic experience. Not only is it a wonderful story, but The Migpog also helps children to open their creative minds and allows the imagination to run wild."
Stew counts illustrators such as Quinton Blake, E.H. Shepherd and Arthur Rackham among the many great inspirations in his works.
He now lives in Hampshire, England, where he spends his time with his family, drawing, reading or walking his dog.
